Dr. Melissa Coombs

PT, DPT

Melissa grew up in a small town about an hour south of Rochester in the Finger Lakes region of New York. She received a Bachelor’s degree in Biology and a Doctorate Degree in Physical Therapy from Daemen College in 2018. She enjoys working in outpatient physical therapy and has also worked in skilled nursing facilities/rehab centers, in school settings, and early intervention programs. Along with working in different settings, she has worked in different states including New York, Virgina, and California.

Melissa recently moved to the Watertown area and is looking forward to treating in outpatient orthopedics. She believes in individualizing people’s plans and interventions depending on patient’s goals and impairments. She values continuing education and learning about new treatment techniques to best treat her patients of all ages.

INTERESTS & HOBBIES

Melissa enjoys being active outside including hiking, snowshoeing, canoeing/kayaking, camping, and working with animals. She also really enjoys traveling and meeting new people.
